Associate, Fellows Program

Nora is an Associate on the Fellows Program Team at CODE2040. A passionate advocate for coalition building and the shared value of a diverse workforce, Nora is thrilled to work with Fellows to facilitate opportunities for learning and discovery during their 10-week internships.

Nora comes to CODE2040 from Net Impact, a national nonprofit that empowers college students to pursue careers with a social or environmental mission. There, she developed programming for the annual flagship conference, focusing on topics including racial equity, economic development, and nonprofit management. Her experience building and launching programs for students and love for tracking operational details stem from a background that also includes advocating for members’ rights at the Berkeley Student Cooperative, relationship development with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs) for the US EPA’s Office of Civil Rights, and drafting legislation protecting community agriculture projects for the Sustainable Economies Law Center. When she’s not building spreadsheets, Nora can be found baking dessert, or listening to a podcast under a tree in a park.
