Senior Director, Partnership
Pablo is from Barranquilla Colombia, which is Shakira and Sofia Vergara’s hometown. He has spent over 7 years working at consulting firms, venture-backed startups and large tech companies.
Most recently he was the VP of Business Operations at Sourcery Technologies, a Y-Combinator startup that helps restaurants manage their finances. At Sourcery Pablo built and ran the company’s account management, sales and operations teams. He built tools and processes that allowed the company to increase revenue by 10x and triple its headcount. In addition to his job responsibilities, Pablo also stewarded work on company culture, was interim CEO for a time, and solidified Sourcery's Guiding Principles
Prior to Sourcery, Pablo worked at Amazon where he launched and ran several multi-million dollar business units including Amazon’s Flower business and its B2B food business. He also co-founded Amazon’s Latinx affinity group, Latinos@Amazon.
Before working at Amazon Pablo worked as a consultant for Ernst & Young managing projects in the U.S. and Latin America. In addition, he worked for Sandbox Industries, a venture capital fund based in Chicago. Pablo was the youngest board member to serve on the Chicago board of the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA).
Pablo holds a BA in Mathematical Economics from Colorado College and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. He speaks Spanish, English, Italian and Portuguese. He thinks it would be really cool if Shakira or Sofia Vergara ever say, “I am from Barranquilla Colombia, Pablo’s hometown.”
