At CODE2040, we strive to create a safe space for our students and broader community. Due to our work with young individuals, some of whom are minors and many of whom have a deep sense of vulnerability, we have instilled a policy to do mandatory checks to identify any volunteers in the National Sex Offender Registry. Certain volunteer roles will also require an additional background check. Volunteers can opt out of these roles.
