Mimi joined Code2040 in 2015 as Director of Programs and has served as VP of Programs, General Manager, and Acting CEO before accepting the CEO role in 2021. Her work currently focuses on Code2040’s growth and impact strategy. As a first-generation Haitian-American, Mimi’s passion lives at the intersection of Black and Brown liberation and empowerment. 

Before CODE2040, Mimi co-founded and ran Code for Progress, a non-profit coding boot camp that pays adults of color as they learn to code and start careers in social justice tech.

Mimi grew up in New York, is an artist and writer, loves being in the woods, and making things by hand.
