Liz is Bay Area based and identifies as white, queer, cis-gender, and neurodivergent. She graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a BA in Feminists Studies and a concentration in Critical Race and Ethnic Studies where she deepened her understanding of racial injustice and whiteness. She continues to be committed to her antiracist practice. 

Before Code2040, she was an Art Educator, leading the development of emerging photography curriculum for youth and facilitating workshops on interpersonal conflict. It was here where she discovered her passion for designing systems and resources that nurture community thriving. 

In her current role, Liz manages cross-functional work that is focused on driving forward the organizations strategic plan. She’s a generalist that specializes in project management and systems creation. As a Virgo, she expresses her care through organization and planning that creates accessible and human centered processes.                         

In her spare time, Liz is a photographer and multi-media artist. She lives for swimming, reading, and creating. She’s also passionate about interior design, an avid foodie, and a proud auntie.
